Grand Traverse RICC Meeting

The Grand Traverse Regional Interagency Consumer Committee (RICC) is extending an invitation for participation to residents of Leelanau County.  A RICC is a local grassroots group of people with disabilities, their friends, and family members.  Membership is also extended to local advocates, community leaders, and service providers.
 
Grand Traverse RICC meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month, from 10:00 AM to noon (lunch provided), in the Main Floor Conference Room of the Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce, 202 E. Grandview Pkwy., Traverse City.

Brave Kids, a new initiative of UCP, serves children with disabilities or chronic/life threatening illnesses by providing information and resources on numerous medical conditions such as genetic diseases, autism, cancer, cerebral palsy, ADD and many more. Visit the website for more information.


UCP Health Reform Community Conversation

UCP Michigan will be sponsoring a community conversation about the Affordable Care Act, and the impact on people with disabilities. The event will be held in Standish on Friday, March 30 from 10am to noon, at the Bay-Arenac ISD / Living Learning Center.
