About the Assistive Technology Center

The Center is a program of UCP Michigan, and was originally funded by a grant from Michigan Rehabilitation Services and The Elsie S. Bellows Fund. We have evolved over the years and now primarily work with the school districts in Upper Michigan. We receive funding from the Michigan Department of Education Office of Special Education/Early Intervention Services to provide services to Upper Peninsula Intermediate School Districts.

We also partner with other agencies that provide services to adults and strive to increase knowledge about assistive technology in the community.
